Dr. Muhammad Sanusi Yusuf

Dr. Muhammad Sanusi Yusuf is a distinguished professional in the field of veterinary medicine and agricultural management. He holds both a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) and a Master of Science (MSc) degree from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.
He is a Fellow of the College of Veterinary Surgeons of Nigeria (FCVSN) and the International Federation of Biosafety Associations (IFBA), reflecting his commitment to excellence in veterinary science and biosafety.
Dr. Yusuf began his career with the Kano State Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources, where he quickly advanced to the position of Area Veterinary Officer. His responsibilities included disease outbreak investigation, meat inspection, vaccination, and providing clinical services.
He later transitioned to academia, serving as a Lecturer I at Ahmadu Bello University, where he specialized in food safety and the management of corporate farms and agricultural ventures. Dr. Yusuf has successfully managed over six rice out-grower cultivation projects, covering more than 6,000 hectares.
His leadership in these projects underscores his expertise in large-scale agricultural management and his dedication to advancing Nigeria’s agricultural sector.
