Mr. Ashi Yangedue is a seasoned professional who currently holds the position of Production Manager at MAFA Rice Mill. With a strong educational background in Agriculture and Environmental Engineering, having graduated from the Federal University of Agriculture in Makurdi, Benue State, he brings a unique blend of technical expertise and agricultural knowledge to his role.
Ashi boasts an impressive 11 years of experience within the rice processing and value chain sector. His career journey is a testament to his commitment to the industry and his ability to excel in various managerial roles.
Prior to joining MAFA Rice Mill in January 2022, Ashi Yangedue held pivotal positions in several prominent rice processing companies across Nigeria. He began his career as the Production Manager at Onyx Rice Mill Limited in Bidda, Niger State, where he effectively managed production operations for a duration of two years. His role at Onyx Rice Mill allowed him to gain valuable insights into the intricacies of rice processing and quality control.
Subsequently, Ashi took on the role of Plant Manager at the rice mill plant of Klysat Food and Beverages in Jigawa State, dedicating three years to overseeing plant operations. His tenure there was marked by his ability to optimize production processes and contribute to the growth of the company.
Ashi’s expertise in production and quality control led him to serve as the Production/Quality Control Manager at Labana Rice Mill in Kebbi State for an additional three years. During this time, he played a critical role in ensuring product quality met the highest standards while also enhancing overall production efficiency. He has attended both local and international trainings such as Regional Learning event/training on Rice Milling efficiency in Africa held at Mbeya, Tanzania.
Since joining MAFA Rice Mill, Ashi Yangedue has brought his extensive industry knowledge and managerial acumen to bear, further contributing to the company’s success. His diverse experience across various roles within the rice processing sector positions him as an asset to MAFA Rice Mill and reinforces his commitment to advancing the rice industry in Nigeria.
